Every pet deserves a loving and reliable sitter, while every owner deserves to know that their pet is being cared for when they are not around. With our dog, Olive, who in fact inspired the name of our company, we encountered many difficulties when it came to picking a trustworthy place for her to stay while we were away. We quickly realized that many of the dog hotels lacked the necessary personalization in their care and affection, having so many dogs to look after. We even exhausted various other available platforms, but she was always ecstatic to leave the place, and unfortunately once had come back home injured. When we adopted our second dog, Leo, we recognized that this is not a singular problem, as his medical inability to interact with other dogs, especially home alone with Olive, proved difficult. That’s why we are on a mission to create a system for dogs to be placed under the customized care of trusted neighbors and friends within a strong community through OlivCare.
